Sofia Marchetti is the Movies and Streaming Reviewer for playepix.com. She tests Android entertainment apps on real phones, checking discovery features, watchlist and tracking behaviour, trailer playback, and everyday stability before any version is written up here.
Her background is in film writing and streaming coverage in Italy, where she wrote about movies, series, and the apps people use to follow them. For every version covered on this site she keeps a test log, verifies the published file facts herself, and updates a review when an update changes how the app behaves.
What Sofia tests: clean installation and first launch; movie and series discovery, search, and recommendations; watchlist and episode tracking accuracy; trailer playback; permissions and privacy behaviour; and performance on mid range and older phones. The full method is published on the How We Review page.
